K swapped Honda FIT. I bought the car on April 19 th 2006 at Sims Honda in Burlington, WA. My wife loves hatchback cars so convincing her to get this car was no chore. After we bought the car that weekend we took it to auto cross a SCCA event in Washington. My wife drove the car in the event and placed 1 st in her class. She said “it lacks horse power!” The best things a husband could hear!

I had a K20Z3 engine that was waiting to get built and all I needed was a set of mounts to install the K20Z3 into the FIT. No one made a set of mounts to swap the engine into the Honda FIT so I contacted the King of swaps Brain G. at Hasport performance. Basically explained the entire build to Brian and what transpired was a fully swapped K series FIT.

The total time from start to finish was 1 year. As Hasport developed the car other manufacturer's contacted Brian and I to develop their products on the K powered FIT. Between the different manufacturer's Progress, Jackson Racing, FastBrakes.com, and Hondata made products specific for the swap! This car is a daily driver, and time attack car it is not set up for drag strip, though I plan to take it to the drag strip one more time to get a final number on the current setup. Events we have competed in. – 1 st place at silver springs raceway in, CA. (2) 2 nd place finishes at Button willow raceway in, CA.

The many shoes I change.

I prefer the 17" advans RGII for daily driving but the 15" enkei wheels are better for time attacks.
